We are Scoot & Ride®, probably the most innovative scooter company in the world.

We, that is Christian, Wolfgang, Christoph, Stefan, Ive, Viktoria and Robert, have found it great since 2010 to be able to implement our passion for product design for children. Our team also includes all our friends, acquaintances and their children as well as our sales, marketing and production partners who have supported us for years; we are proud of that.

Our passion has taken us to 61 countries so far. This means that our products for children between the ages of 1 and 12 are available in over 61 countries worldwide. Our products are now so popular that they are often imitated. We prefer to work on something new and live our philosophy with you here and now.

QUALITY Our products are tested by recognized testing institutes according to country-specific legal requirements and comply with the TOY DIRECTIVE 2009-48-EC and REACH regulations. Our product has been tested according to one or more of the following standards for each category: EN71 / EN14619 / EN 1078 / ASTM F963 / ASTM F2246 / KC / GMARK / AS-NZS ISO 8124. In addition to the legal requirements, the product must also correspond to our philosophy, which is why For example, we avoid PVC and work to only use materials from certified suppliers.

PRODUCTION We have been producing our scooters in our factory in southern China for nine years. The factory is managed by Mr Lee, a second company from Hong Kong takes care of our daily communication (thanks Ricky, Stanley, Lisa, Jim and Armin). Our Jane, who also lives in China, carries out an additional check commissioned by us before each shipping. Since 2018 we have also been producing our helmets in China and in the future we will also have a foothold in Vietnam. All of our direct partners follow international and additional voluntary standards such as ISO 9001, BSCI, ICTI, Bluesign, Ökotex. As an Austrian company, we set our requirements as a goal and are on site every two months, because only together is it best to move into the future.

RESPONSIBILITY Scoot & Ride is convinced that only a product with a long service life is the least harmful to the environment. We live our 2 in 1 idea, use the best materials and design our products in such a way that they can also be repaired. We are working on using environmentally friendly or recycled materials where possible. For example, our trade fair giveaways for 2019 are largely made from recycled materials. Optimized supply chains are also an important part, so we have changed our overseas packaging units from two to four and optimized all carton sizes to minimize CO2.
